Election Watch 2024: Congress Faces Challenges in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry

 

MeWrites: In a detailed analysis done by my trusted friend and psephologist based in Chennai, it has been observed that the Congress Party may face challenges in several key constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

The Congress Party seems to be in a disadvantageous position in five constituencies, namely Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Virudunagar, Karur, and Puducherry. Moreover, in Sivaganga, the party is reportedly facing some challenges, which could impact its electoral performance in the region.

Furthermore, the Congress Party's overall number of votes is expected to be less than 10 crore in this election. 

This decline can be attributed to two main factors. Firstly, the party is contesting 100 seats less than in previous elections. Secondly, there appears to be a slide in the party's popularity, reflected in a predicted drop in its vote percentage to around 17%.
