As a concerned citizen who values the integrity of our electoral process, I firmly believe that linking Aadhaar with voter ID (EPIC) is a necessary step to ensure fair and fraud-free elections. This move is not about exclusion but about securing our democracy from illegal voting practices, impersonation, and manipulation. Every vote must count, and it must be cast only by those who are genuinely entitled to it.

I have often wondered whether our elections truly reflect the will of Indian citizens, especially in regions affected by illegal immigration. The introduction of the Illegal Immigration Bill is a crucial step in addressing this issue, and linking Aadhaar with voter IDs complements it perfectly. By ensuring that only legitimate Indian citizens are included in electoral rolls, we can safeguard our democracy from external influences. The recent amendments to the Waqf Act have sparked discussions about the intersection of politics and religious influences in elections.
