#RahulGandhi's 'Hydrogen Bomb'

So, Rahul Gandhi dropped what he called a "hydrogen bomb". Not on Pakistan, not even on Modi — but on the Election Commission. It was supposed to shake the foundations of democracy. Instead, it landed with the thud of an empty pressure cooker.

According to the Congress scion, there exists a woman who voted not once, not twice, but twenty-five times. Twenty-five! One must admire her stamina, if not her civic sense. She deserves not punishment, but perhaps a Padma Shri — for single-handedly improving our voter turnout.

But what truly intrigues me is not her multitasking prowess — it’s Rahul Gandhi’s clairvoyance. How did he divine that all her 25 votes went to the Bharatiya Janata Party? Did she send him a postcard? Whisper it to him in a dream? Or did the EVM confess after a night of torture in Tihar?

In a land where no one can say for sure who ate the last rasgulla at a wedding, here is a man who knows the secret preference of a voter. If this isn’t divine revelation, it must be data analytics from heaven.

The Congress leaders have turned into novelists. They don’t produce policies — they produce plot twists. They blame "algorithms" and "EVMs." And between these allegations, the ordinary voter — who votes once, with some hope and much confusion — becomes a mythical creature accused of voting 25 times for the wrong side.

Now, having seen more elections than Rahul Gandhi has seen constituencies, I can tell you that mistakes in electoral rolls are as common as mosquitoes in May. The Election Commission corrects them; sometimes they miss a few. It’s not a conspiracy; it’s clerical fatigue. But it’s easier, of course, to call it a "hydrogen bomb" — makes for better television than saying, "Some babus messed up the database."

So here we are, counting real votes cast by a very real woman, but for reasons only Rahul Gandhi seems to know. The Congress, like a heartbroken lover, keeps asking, "Why did she choose BJP over me?" Perhaps because, like every relationship gone wrong, you stopped listening.

If a lady truly voted 25 times, at least she showed more commitment than most politicians do to their promises.

And that, honourable Rahul, is one vote of confidence he must have to earn — not imagine.
